Gatsby Glow Ball® Oakleaf Hydrangea — 4” Proven Winners® ColorChoice® Shrub
This plant is available for pre-order, with spring 2026 delivery.
Gatsby Glow Ball® is an exciting new native Hydrangea quercifolia bred for a denser, fuller, more compact habit than traditional oakleaf hydrangeas. If you love the bold leaves and luminous white blooms of oakleaf types but want a shrub that stays beautifully rounded with more flower coverage, this is the one. Its conical white panicles glow against the rich, lobed foliage, creating a luminous effect in both sun and shade. As a native species, Gatsby Glow Ball® offers superb disease resistance, dependable performance in the heat, and strong deer resistance once mature. Fall color is classic oakleaf—deep burgundy and wine-red.
