String of Pearls Succulent - 4" Pot
A string of pearls (Curio rowleyanus) is a unique succulent plant with long, trailing stems and small, spherical, pea-like leaves. Native to the dry regions of South Africa, it features translucent "windows" on its leaves to aid in photosynthesis while minimizing water loss. The plant is popular as a houseplant for its graceful, hanging vines and is relatively drought-tolerant, though it requires bright, indirect light and well-draining soil to thrive.
To care for a String of Pearls plant, provide bright, indirect light and water only when the soil is completely dry, ensuring the pot has excellent drainage. Use a well-draining succulent or cactus soil mix and maintain temperatures between 60–85°F (15–29°C). Fertilize lightly during the spring and summer and protect the plant from cold drafts and direct sunlight.
