Antique Amber Federal Law Whiskey Bottle
Vintage Sale
A striking piece of early American glass with undeniable presence. This antique amber whiskey bottle features bold embossed lettering reading “Federal Law Forbids Sale or Re-Use of This Bottle,” a phrase instantly evocative of the post-Prohibition era. The warm amber tone, classic flattened flask form, and strong shoulder embossing give it that unmistakable early-20th-century character collectors love.
The glass shows honest age and light surface wear consistent with decades of handling, but remains solid and visually impressive. The base embossing and molded details point to mass-produced utility glass from the 1930s–1940s, originally intended for regulated spirits distribution—now long divorced from its original purpose and prized purely for its design and history.
A perfect accent for a bar shelf, bookcase, or primitive Americana vignette. Also excellent as a standalone decorative object or vase.
Vintage glass with real presence—once purely functional, now undeniably collectible.
