Antique Victorian EAPG Clear Glass Footed Compote
A beautiful piece of late-19th- to early-20th-century pressed glass, this elegant footed compote features a deeply scalloped, triple-wave rim, a fluted pedestal stem, and an octagonal base with a dramatic molded starburst.
The glass has the subtle bubbles, waviness, and manufacturing irregularities associated with early pressed glass, giving it the character collectors look for in authentic Victorian-era tableware. The ornate rim was likely hand-finished after molding, creating its graceful folded appearance.
Perfect for displaying fruit, flowers, ornaments, or seasonal décor, it also makes a striking centerpiece on its own.
