Vintage “Tiara” Amber Sandwich Covered Butter/Cheese Dish

A gorgeous piece of vintage American pressed glass, this covered pedestal dish was made for Tiara Exclusives in the classic Sandwich pattern, produced by Indiana Glass.
The warm amber glass is decorated with ornate floral and scroll motifs, while the domed lid is finished with a rounded glass knob. The pedestal base gives it a wonderfully substantial presence on the table.
Originally intended as a covered butter dish, it also works beautifully for cheese, candies, nuts, or simply as a decorative centerpiece.
