1950s Hull Pottery Footed Mug – USA
A beautifully preserved mid-century Hull Pottery footed mug, crafted in the 1955–1965 era and finished in Hull’s iconic chestnut drip glaze. This is the elevated form of everyday American pottery—warm, glossy brown tones cascading into lighter honey along the rim, all balanced by that distinctive pedestal base that gives the mug real presence.
The impressed hull USA mark inside the foot places it firmly in the golden age of Hull’s kitchen and tableware line, when the company was producing pieces meant to be both functional and artful. This one delivers. The glaze is rich and clean, the shine deep, and the form wonderfully sculptural.
Perfect as a display piece, a standout on open shelving, or as part of a curated grouping of mid-century pottery. These pedestal mugs are increasingly hard to find in this condition.
