Antique Dugan Glass Beaded Scroll Bowl (c. 1905–1910)
This is a striking example of early American pressed glass from the golden age of tableware. Made by the Dugan Glass Company in Pennsylvania, this bowl features deeply molded scrolling panels, fine stippling, a radiant sunburst base, and a dramatic beaded rim that catches the light beautifully from every angle.
Dugan specialized in what collectors often call “near-cut” glass—pressed pieces so elaborate they rival true cut crystal. This bowl has the weight, clarity, and crisp detail that define the period.
Condition:
There is a small chip on the beaded rim (see photo). It does not affect the structure of the bowl and is visually subtle when displayed or filled. Priced accordingly.

Why we love it:
Even with its flaw, this bowl has real presence. It’s the kind of piece that looks wonderful on a sideboard, dining table, or kitchen island—especially when filled with fruit, ornaments, or greenery. A beautiful survivor from an era when American glassmakers pushed craftsmanship to its limits.
A wonderful opportunity to own an authentic piece of early 20th-century glass at a very approachable price.
