Seasonal Dormancy Notice: Our nursery is located in the mountains of western Virginia, where cool autumn temperatures arrive early. Depending on the variety and time of shipment, your shrub may already have begun entering its natural winter dormancy.
You may see yellowing or browning leaves, leaf drop, or partially or completely bare stems. This is normal seasonal behavior and does not indicate that the plant is unhealthy. Your shrub should break dormancy and produce fresh new growth when temperatures warm in spring.
