Soft Serve® Gold False Cypress

Soft Serve® Gold False Cypress — Buy One, Get One Free
Need year-round color without planting another ordinary green evergreen? Soft Serve® Gold brings bright golden foliage, soft texture, and four-season structure to the garden.
This graceful false cypress has a naturally pyramidal habit and finely textured foliage that almost looks fern-like. Its golden color is especially striking against hydrangeas, roses, burgundy foliage, and darker evergreens.
Hardy in USDA Zones 4–8, Soft Serve® Gold matures at approximately 6–10 feet tall and 5–6 feet wide. Plant it in full sun to part sun; the best golden color develops with good sunlight. It prefers moist, well-drained soil, especially while becoming established.
Soft Serve® Gold works beautifully as a specimen, in foundation plantings, mixed shrub borders, or repeated throughout the landscape for rhythm and structure.
One of its best qualities is that it keeps working when the flowers are finished. In winter, when much of the garden has disappeared, you still have color, shape, and texture.
What you’ll receive: Two young starter plants in nursery pots. Photos show mature plants.
Seasonal note: Plants may arrive with some yellowing, browning, or minor foliage changes due to shipping and seasonal conditions. Fresh growth should emerge as the plants settle in and resume active growth.
Soft Serve® Gold False Cypress—an easy way to make the garden look good in every season.
