Soft Serve® False Cypress

Soft Serve® False Cypress — Buy One, Get One Free
If you love the look of a conifer but want something softer and more graceful, Soft Serve® False Cypress is an excellent choice.
Its fine, feathery foliage has a fresh green color that remains attractive year-round. The plant develops a naturally elegant, pyramidal shape, adding structure to the garden without looking stiff or overly formal.
Soft Serve® is hardy in USDA Zones 4–8 and typically grows about 6–10 feet tall and 5–6 feet wide. It performs best in full sun to part sun and prefers moist, well-drained soil.
Use it as a specimen plant, in foundation beds, mixed borders, or group plantings where you want evergreen screening and four-season interest. It pairs beautifully with hydrangeas, roses, ornamental grasses, and colorful deciduous shrubs. Its soft texture creates an especially appealing contrast against broad leaves and flowering plants.
What you’ll receive: Young starter plants in nursery pots. Photos show mature plants.
Seasonal note: Because our nursery is in the Virginia mountains, plants may arrive with yellowing leaves, leaf drop, or bare stems as they enter normal winter dormancy. Fresh growth should emerge in spring.
Soft Serve® False Cypress offers evergreen structure, refined texture, and year-round beauty.
