Echeveria Laui Plant - 4" Pot
Echeveria laui is a slow-growing succulent known for its attractive blue-grey, rosette-shaped leaves that are covered in a powdery white coating called pruina, which protects them from sun. The plant typically forms symmetrical rosettes and produces bell-shaped flowers that are pink-orange to peachy-rose in color. Native to Oaxaca, Mexico, Echeveria laui is popular for its distinctive appearance, making it a favorite for succulent collections.
Bright, indirect light: Echeveria laui needs plenty of light, but avoid intense, direct sunlight, which can scorch the leaves.
Fast-draining soil: Use a specialized cactus or succulent mix or create your own with potting soil, sand, and perlite to ensure excellent drainage.
Water thoroughly but infrequently: Water deeply when the soil is completely dry, allowing excess water to drain from the bottom of the pot.
Avoid overwatering: Echeveria laui is sensitive to water and can quickly develop root rot if kept in wet soil.
Protect the leaves: Be careful not to water the leaves directly, as this can lead to water pooling and rot, especially if it gets into the center rosette.
