Jade Plant - 4" Pot
The jade plant (Crassula ovata) is a long-lived succulent with thick, oval-shaped, fleshy leaves that grow on woody stems, giving it a miniature tree-like appearance. Native to South Africa, it's a popular houseplant, sometimes called the "money plant," and can produce clusters of small white or pink star-shaped flowers in winter under the right conditions.
Light:
Prefers bright light, with some direct sun, but can tolerate lower light conditions indoors.
Watering:
Like other succulents, they need well-draining soil and prefer to have the soil kept moist but not wet.
Temperature:
Thrives in temperatures between 65-75°F (18-24°C) during the day and slightly cooler at night, avoiding temperatures below 50°F (10°C).
Pests:
Can be susceptible to pests like mealybugs, which are small, white, cottony insects found at the leaf and stem junctions.
