$4.95Price

The Artillery Plant (Pilea microphylla) is a tropical plant known for its delicate, fern-like appearance with tiny, lime green leaves on arching stems. It grows low, forming spreading clumps, and gets its common name from its inconspicuous flowers that forcefully eject pollen, resembling small "explosions" or "gunpowder". The plant is succulent, grows to about 8 to 12 inches tall, and is native to the tropical and subtropical Americas but is considered an invasive species in many other regions.
