Exceptional Japanese porcelain demitasse service featuring a graceful lady-in-the-garden scene, pale green ground, soft peach handles, delicate floral detail, and gilt trim.
The set includes a tall covered coffee pot, covered sugar bowl, creamer, 8 demitasse cups, and 8 matching saucers.
Dating to the 1920s–1930s, the decoration is beautifully hand-finished and the entire service remains in remarkably pristine condition, with the appearance of a set that has seen very little use.
A striking and unusually complete example of early Japanese export porcelain—equally beautiful for display or elegant after-dinner coffee service.
